Y4 Fishbourne Roman Palace Trip!

Y4 Fishbourne Roman Palace Trip!

The Year 4’s returned to school after the half-term break to find themselves on a fabulous school trip to Fishbourne Roman Palace and Gardens for their new topic “Rotten Romans”.  They spent the day learning all about how Romans lived and took part in different workshops where they were able to explore different aspects of Roman life such as spinning wool and dressing in Roman attire.

Raela-Belle and Gracie had this to say about the trip:

“We visited the Fishbourne Roman Palace and had lots of fun! We did fun activities such as spinning wool, writing Roman numerals and exploring the gardens. We also watched a film about how they found the mosaics. Our favourite part was the workshop and when we went to the gift shop! The museum had lots of fun facts.”
